Located in California, USA, this paragliding site is occasionally used, primarily when the wind is coming from the southwest. The launch point is situated about a 15-minute hike up from LB 300 on the Glider Point trail.
The launch area is relatively unimproved, meaning it lacks significant maintenance and protection from natural obstacles like sticks and bushes, which can easily snag your glider. Additionally, it is uncommon to find a windsock or streamers at this site, so you will need to bring your own streamer tape to gauge wind conditions.
