Soaring is best with a nice south-southwest wind. Thermals start around 11:00 AM. At sunset, expect light downdrafts. Easy takeoff, ideal for beginners and less experienced pilots. Monitor wind strength on the lake. In the afternoon, the wind can become strong. Do not fly with north wind. No official landing zones - avoid high grass from May 1st to mid-June.
