Paragliding Alpe Varuna

The launch site at Varuna, located at an altitude of 1923-1970 meters, is relatively seldom used. It is suitable for soaring and mini cross-country flights. Access to the site is convenient; from the Cavaglia train station (RhB), it takes about 40 minutes on foot by following the signposts. Important considerations: Do not fly when there is a north wind. There are no official landing sites, and you should avoid landing in tall grass. From May 1st to mid-June, landing options are limited, so always inspect the area beforehand and ask for advice if needed.
