Description
Located in St Martin's Parish, this coastal soaring site offers a unique paragliding experience with a takeoff direction between 180 and 230 degrees. The site is characterized by its large, soarable cliff bay, but it is important to note that there is no bottom landing available—only top landing is permitted. Pilots should avoid landing in fields with cattle or horses nearby.

Parking is available at the vinery off 'Longtrac,' and from there, you will need to walk to the takeoff point. The GPS coordinates for parking are 49.4286 N, 2.5712 W.
Due to the site's proximity to the airport, there are strict flight regulations. All flying is within Class 'A' airspace, and pilots need prior permission from the airport. Flyers must be members of the GPC and either Guernsey residents or visiting pilots accompanied by a GPC member. Prior registration with the airport via the GPC is required, which takes approximately two weeks. The maximum altitude allowed is 60 meters above takeoff, and cross-country flights (XCs) are not permitted.
Weather hazards include the potential for rotor formation on takeoff if the wind is crossed. For safety and compliance, please read the club rules on the GPC website.
