The landscape around Reutte may not be as picturesque as the nearby towns of Tannheim, Pfronten, and Füssen, but the flying conditions at Hahnenkamm above Reutte are noteworthy. The take-off direction is generally towards the southeast and east, which often results in higher thermals compared to other areas. Be prepared for higher climb rates due to the elevated cloud base.
