Regulations:
The site is open to pilots affiliated with the FBVL or a recognized foreign federation, with valid aerial liability insurance. Pilots must present their FBVL membership card or equivalent and proof of insurance upon request by any authority, including site managers.
The site is reserved for individual pilots. Schools or organized groups must request prior permission from site managers. Access is only allowed during daylight hours, and motorized equipment is prohibited. Open fires are not allowed on or near the site.
Activities that disturb the forest's tranquility, disrupt wildlife, or harm the natural environment are prohibited. Picnicking and littering, including leaving cigarette butts, are forbidden. Several parking areas and picnic spots are available near the landing zone for pilots and their families.
The landing zone is reserved for pilots only for the time needed to land and pack up, which should be done by the roadside. The use of the gate is mandatory; the fence must never be opened.
The landing area is located between the power line and the base of the hill, in one of the two meadows to the left and right of the windsock. Be cautious of the power line in the middle of the landing meadows and two power lines to the right of the takeoff. For safety, do not go beyond the caravan located below the takeoff on the right.
The landing zone can be used even in the presence of livestock, but care must be taken not to startle or injure the animals. Pilots are solely responsible for any damage caused by their activity to others, themselves, or property.
Users of the site are presumed to have read, accepted, and committed to following these regulations. They waive any claims against the landowners of the takeoff and landing areas, the FBVL and its representatives, the Commune and the SI of La Roche, the Walloon Region, and the Nature and Forests division.
Site managers may deny access to anyone not complying with these regulations.
