Description: Classic flying site
Regulations:
The site is open to pilots affiliated with the FBVL or a recognized foreign federation, with valid aerial liability insurance. The FBVL membership card or a card from a foreign federation, along with proof of insurance, must be presented upon request by any authority, especially site managers.
The site is reserved for individual pilots. Schools or organized groups may access the site only with prior permission from the site managers.
The site is accessible only during the day. It is prohibited to access or use any motorized equipment on the site. Making fires on or near the site is forbidden.
It is prohibited to engage in any activity that disturbs the tranquility of the forest, disrupts the behavior of wildlife, or harms the interactions between living beings and their natural environment. Picnicking and leaving waste, especially cigarette butts, on the site is forbidden. Several parking areas and picnic spots are available near the landing zone for paragliders and their families.
The landing zone is reserved for pilots only for the time necessary to land and pack up (which should be done by the roadside). The use of the gate pass is mandatory; the gate must never be left open. The landing area is located between the power line and the foot of the hill, in one of the two meadows to the left and right of the windsock (note: there is a power line in the middle of the landing meadows, and two power lines to the right of the takeoff area. For safety, do not go beyond the caravan located below the takeoff area, to the right).
The use of the landing zone is permitted even in the presence of livestock. Care must be taken not to frighten or injure the animals. The pilot is solely responsible for any damage caused by their activity to others, themselves, or property.
Users of the site are presumed to have read, accepted, and committed to complying with these regulations. They waive any claims against the landowners of the takeoff and landing areas, the FBVL and its representatives, the Commune and the SI of La Roche, the Walloon Region, and the Nature and Forests division in particular.
Site managers may deny access to anyone not complying with these regulations.
Danger: Power line in the middle of the landing meadows, and two power lines to the right of the takeoff area. For safety, do not go beyond the caravan located below the takeoff area, to the right.
