Description
The launch site is situated on a bare mountain covered with soft moss. There are no bushes, large rocks, or power lines. The launch area slopes gently towards the edge, making it suitable for take-offs towards the northeast, east, and southeast. You can land either at the launch site or on a large flat meadow directly below the launch.
Driving directions from Bruflat (R33 E16-Dokka):
Drive north on R251 for 2.5 km. Turn left over the river towards Espelibygda and continue for 7.4 km (toll fee after 3.3 km). Take a small road to the left marked Turitrøen/Espelifjellet. Park at the end of the road. Walk approximately 500 meters along a well-marked path to the launch site (keep left).
