Paragliding Jivdani Hill

Jivdani Mandir Hill is located in Virar East, just 2 kilometers from Virar station. The take-off point is at an elevation of 750 feet from the ground level and 800 feet above sea level. The site is best suited for flying when the wind directions are from the west or southwest, particularly in May and June. The take-off can be tricky and requires good ground handling skills. Once airborne, pilots can enjoy small cross-country flights, especially just before the monsoon season when the southwest winds are prevalent. For landing, there is a large cricket ground that is easily reachable. This site is also great for beginners to practice, with numerous landing options available.
