Paragliding Arran Drumadoon

Drumadoon, located northwest of Blackwaterfoot, is a coastal paragliding site that is occasionally used and suitable for strong northwest winds. The site has a height of 60 meters. To reach Drumadoon, park in the golf course's car park and follow the footpath to Kings Cave for approximately 1500 meters. As the path passes behind the hill fort and descends to the shore, the takeoff point is at the top of the steep banking at grid reference NR 887 296. The site offers good top and bottom landing areas. However, access may be restricted during lambing season. If you are unsure, it is advisable to ask at the farmhouse located at grid reference NR 891 291, as these are the landowners.
