Paragliding Spitzerberg

This site is regularly used as a practice slope, though it is often not logged. It offers excellent soaring conditions for strong winds coming from the west, northwest, and north. We use it for training purposes, perfecting take-offs, active flying, top landings, and touch-and-go maneuvers. This is ideal preparation for our safaris or simply for the joy and fun of flying. Strong wind training here is akin to using a flight simulator. On the southwest/south side, conditions seem to be even better.
