The site is suitable for thermalling and some cross-country (XC) flights. Paragliding pilots can launch from the top flat area or use the cleared slope in front of it, although the vegetation tends to regrow quickly. Hang gliding pilots, on the other hand, will find a preferable launch spot by heading to the right (about 100 feet) and walking to the end of a small spine (about 50 feet).
