Parking: - Grid Reference: NT155205 - Park at the side of the Tweedsmuir to St Mary's Loch road, east of the Megget stone. Ensure you park in a suitable location without blocking passing places or cattle grids. Flying Conditions: - The site is not flown very often and requires a light ENE/NE breeze. Hazards: - The area consists of big hills and is quite remote. - It involves a considerable walk to reach the site. - Mobile reception is limited. - Check NOTAM and CANP, especially if flying mid-week, as the area is used for low-flying exercises by military fast jets.
