Meeting points for pilots are at the landing sites in Lauenen or Brienz Forsthaus. Please use the shuttle bus. The launch site is accessible by road from Brienz, but a permit is required. In winter, the launch site can only be reached with snowshoes. The launch area is marked with a windsock and offers the possibility to ascend to Brienzer Rothorn, quickly reaching Interlaken or Planplatten. Landings are typically in Brienz/Lauenen (easy slope landing) or at the Forsthaus (near the lake).
