Paragliding Sirkot

At an altitude of 1612 meters, this paragliding site in Nepal is frequently used and offers excellent opportunities for cross-country (XC) flights. Regular flights are often made to Sangkot (Pokhara). For guiding services, you can contact Bluesky, who also have a resort in the area. Their services include courses, equipment rental, XC courses, accommodation, and XC support for Gulmi/Killung. Access to the site is by jeep, and the best time to visit is from November to April. The journey from Pokhara involves two hours on the main road followed by one hour on a dirt road. Depart from Pokhara early in the morning to arrive in time for an acclimatization flight in the afternoon. You can either top land or return by jeep to the summit at the Sirkot fly resort. Enjoy breakfast with superb views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu before preparing for a big flight around the area. The perfect cross-country route heads towards Pokhara, with a cultural stop at Killung. Retrieval is along the open valley along the main road.
