Paragliding Scilla nuova

This launch site, situated at an altitude of 673 meters, is rarely used and no flight logs have been found. It is recommended to consult with local pilots for more information. The launch area is excellent, provided the moderately steep grassy slope has been cleared. It is easily accessible and offers a good entry into thermals due to its height. The best thermals can be found above the house on the left with the red roof. If you descend below this point, it's time to cross the highway and head to the landing zone. Top landing is not possible. Directions: From the upper end of Scilla, drive towards Melia. At Villago del Pino, turn right (left leads to the cemetery), pass under the highway, and continue up the well-maintained winding road. At the junction, turn right and pass by 'Villago del Pino'. Turn right again past the farm and park at the quarry. From the last parking spot, the dirt road to the launch site is accessible by car, but it's better to walk due to limited parking space.
