Description
The slopes here are approximately 35 meters high and 1.5 kilometers long. The terrain varies, with a very steep cliff at the starting point. Flying to the right of the starting point is challenging, and flying to the left can also be difficult due to the lower slope, making it hard to return. This spot is best suited for more experienced pilots. The beach is narrow and has some stones, but landing on the beach is possible. Top starts and landings can be done, but be cautious of potential rotor effects during top landings. This location is not heavily frequented by pilots but comes recommended for those seeking a challenge.
The site is located north of West Zealand, Røsnæs at Kalundborg. From Kalundborg, drive along the coast road towards Ulstrup on Røsnæs. Continue through Bjørnstrup, then turn left down Hellesvej. After about 500 meters, the road turns 90 degrees to the left; find a suitable place to park nearby. Just before Hellesvej turns left, there is space for a few cars on the right side of the road. The starting point is located diagonally up to the left at the highest point, which is about a 200-meter walk from the parking area.
In strong winds, consider taking off from below.
