Description
The launch site is located at an altitude of 1,136-1,155 meters with a height difference of 675 meters. It is a medium-difficulty site, frequently used for soaring, and cross-country flights are possible.
To reach the site from Isernia, head towards Castel di Sangro. After less than a kilometer, take the exit for Miranda. Once in Miranda, just past the town, take the paved road leading to the Santa Lucia sanctuary. The launch site is located just after the sanctuary.
The recommended flying period is all year round, with a southwest exposure. The launch altitude is 1,200 meters, and the landing zone is approximately 400 meters.
