Official landing is at the take off (top landing),no more landing at the auditorium please.
Emergency landings are not so big, on your left hand side (when standing at the take off) there is a little farmhouse with a not so big piece of flat land, well, that's your best choice, right underneath the take off there is a smaller place, this is only your last resource, and on the east side there is a monument (sort of) which is an option if you are not going to make it to the auditorium.
Getting to this place by public transport is painful and a taxi would charge you more than our small fee. If you have your own car, make sure to get back to get it before darkness.

Es la zona de vuelo más frecuentada de Gran Canaria, no tanto por su interés, sino por su cercanía a la ciudad y, sobre todo, porque es volable con mucha frecuencia al estar el despegue orientado al NE y, por tanto, al viento dominante en Canarias: el Alisio.
Se trata de un típico vuelo de costa, generalmente fácil, de ladera dinámica, con viento laminar.
Como siempre, conviene comentar con los pilotos de la zona, las condiciones metereológicas del día y las peculiaridades del lugar.
Despegues:
Vuelo dinámico con orientación NE, viento predominante en la isla. Amplísimo despegue, donde tambien se hace top landing. El terreno del despegue es de propiedad particular. Y el propietario permite el acceso con ciertas restricciones .
Aterrizajes:
En caso de hundida, hay aterrizajes alternativos, pero el asunto es complicado, algunos de los aterrizajes son dificiles y otros están prohibidos. Es conveniente informarse antes.
Accesos:
Desde Las Palmas, se toma la carretera del Norte. Hasta la salida de Los Giles. Nada mas pasar Ladera Alta, antes de llegar al pueblo, hay un camino de tierra a la izquierda. Hay que dejar los coches allí y hacer unos 500 metros andando.
