At an elevation of 1216 meters, this paragliding site is rarely used. It is suitable for hang gliding and cross-country flights are possible.
The site offers good access. To use the launch area, please inquire at the restaurant located directly at the launch site. Launching and soaring are almost always possible here, thanks to the valley wind or Bise wind at Wirzweli. Thermals can be accessed from the valley wind, providing a fantastic flying area over Central Switzerland and the Bernese Oberland.
Be cautious of the numerous cables, especially below 1200 meters down to the valley. Make sure to consult the obstacle map.
