Description
At an elevation of 2312 meters, this paragliding site is occasionally used and offers the possibility for cross-country (XC) flights. There are several alternative launch points higher up, which helps distribute the flying activity in the area. This site serves as an XC reference point, with common flight paths heading towards Oberalppass and Chur.
When the chairlift is operational, you can reach the Gütsch mountain station. Be mindful of potential downdrafts due to snow and watch out for skiers in the area.
Additionally, there is often good thermic activity (convergence) above the wind turbine on the ridge.
