At an altitude of 2470 meters, this paragliding site is occasionally used and offers cross-country (XC) flying possibilities. There are several alternative launch points higher up, which helps distribute the flying activity in the area. This site also serves as an XC reference point, with common flight paths heading towards Oberalppass and Chur.
When the chairlift is operational, you can reach the launch site at the Gütsch mountain station. Be mindful of potential downdrafts due to snow and watch out for skiers in the area.
Additionally, good thermals often form above the wind turbine on the ridge due to convergence.
