To reach the takeoff point, start from Unterseen and take the Postauto to Beatenbucht. From there, take the funicular to Beatenberg. Proceed to the valley station of the group gondola and take it to the summit of Niederhorn. From the summit, walk to the takeoff site. The takeoff area is a steep meadow covered with alpine rose bushes. If you cannot gain altitude at the takeoff site, you must fly around the Niederhorn, which is a long route.
