Description
Located in Nepal, near the holy Machhapuchare (Fishtail) peak and just 25 km from the Annapurna mountains, this paragliding site offers an extraordinary experience. The main launch direction is southeast, with various takeoff possibilities. The primary launch altitude is approximately 3680 meters, but you can ascend to heights up to 6000 meters. This site is regularly used for vol bivouac flights, making it ideal for experienced pilots who are prepared for high altitudes and variable weather conditions.
If you don't manage to topland, a long but scenic hike awaits you, as there is no road access to the launch site. Cross-country (XC) flights are possible, offering breathtaking panoramas. There is no designated landing zone, but you can find various landing possibilities in the valley, such as dry rice paddies. Be cautious of the large high voltage line at the lower end of the ridge.
