Description
The Chasseron site offers a unique paragliding experience with options for hike & fly and soaring. The site is located in the north-west wind direction. The elevation difference is 1030m from Vuitboeuf and 600m from Val de Travers. Landing options include Vuitboeuf or Val de Travers.
This is primarily a soaring site. If you manage to stay aloft while soaring, you should navigate around the ridge by the antenna and fly over the Covatane gorges. If you can't maintain your soaring, you can land just below the takeoff point and hike back up, which involves a 150m elevation gain. However, this hike is not very easy. Alternatively, you can land in Val de Travers.
