Les Aiguilles de Baulmes is a rocky ridge where thermals graze the slope, aiding in transitions further northeast along the Jura, provided you have sufficient altitude to reach them. It is possible to take off from here, although the cliff launch has a slight upward incline and is somewhat sheltered from the wind. For hang gliders, the foot access is relatively long, taking about 15 minutes.
