Bulbuley Dara is a popular paragliding site located in Gangtok, Sikkim, India. The takeoff point is situated at an elevation of 2135 meters, with the site record being a flight of 11.7 km and a descent of -2200 meters. The takeoff area is in Bulbuley, specifically at Dhupi Dara near the radio station. The site faces south to southwest, with wind directions often coming from the southeast, making it flyable. The terrain is a ridge with a flat top, suitable for thermodynamic flying. The best months for flying are from October to May. Access to the site is convenient, requiring only a 5-minute walk from the nearby road. However, pilots should be aware of the radio station relay tower in the vicinity, which poses a hazard. This site is recommended for advanced pilots due to its complexity and potential hazards. The designated landing zone is at Reshithang Sports Ground.
