Tepequém - Boa Vista - RR Altitude: 1310 meters / 4296.8 feet Vertical Drop: 500 meters / 1640 feet Wind Direction: NE (unlikely for this spot) WayPoint: 2°39'55.91" N 60°42'49" W Access: Very easy, asphalt road 200 km from Boa Vista. Look for a local guide at SESC Tepequém. Take-off: Easy take-off with plenty of space (cliff). Access is complicated by the walk, but the trail is good and smooth. Horse rentals for the ascent are possible; inquire in the village. Landing: Landing at the top of the mountain or on farms below the ramp. Distant and technical landing, requiring careful planning as the flight is over an indigenous reserve. Best Season: November to March Official Club: ARVL Advantages: Excellent for cross-country flying with beautiful views. Disadvantages: Difficult access (walking) and no landing below the ramp. Best Season: November to March Official Club: Associação Roraima de Vôo Livre Advantages: Good region for cross-country flying, very technical as the ramp is low, but with a ceiling of 3000 meters.
