Launch Site: Launch Window: Orientation: Southeast Difficulty: Intermediate Altitude: 2340 m Cable Car: No Coordinates: 8.78296881, 46.89011637 Hiking Time: 60 minutes Directions: From Unterschächen, take the Klausen Pass road to Urigen. About 50 meters after the hairpin turn, a mountain road requiring a permit branches off to the left. Permits can be obtained at Hotel Urigen and the farmhouse below the first hairpin turn. Follow this road to Alp Mettenen. Continue on the natural road to the high plateau. From there, proceed on foot towards Alpler Tor to reach the launch site. The launch site is a steep alpine meadow.
