Parapente Abant alternative

Located in the Bolu region of Turkey, this paragliding site offers a launch altitude of 1741 meters with a height difference of approximately 760 meters. It is a lesser-known spot with various launch possibilities, making it suitable for both soaring and some cross-country (XC) flights. Top landing is also possible here. The site is situated near a nature park close to Bolu city, about 30 kilometers away, and is a 4-hour drive from Istanbul. There are several hills around the lake that cater to different wind directions. The specific take-off point is on the south side of the cliffs near the lake, accessible via the road leading to the Radio-Link station.
