The cable car provides quick access to the launch height, and the area offers large, comfortable, and technically simple flights in a stunning alpine landscape. Due to the exposed location of Gotschna, it is essential to keep an eye on the weather. The north-facing slopes are ideal for soaring, especially in the reliable wind funnel over the approach to the Vereina Tunnel. Thermals can be found even in winter, particularly from March onwards, either over the southern slopes, the forest, or the northern slopes of Klosters. Spring and summer offer fantastic cross-country opportunities, often via Jakobshorn in all directions except southwest.
