Paragliding Stråvalla Strand

Stråvalla Strand offers a thrilling paragliding experience, but it's not for the faint-hearted. The site is surrounded by houses, power lines, and train tracks, making it a bit challenging. However, with the right wind conditions, it works well for soaring flights. To get there, drive down to Stråvalla Strand and park in the beach parking lot. The launch site is south of the parking area, on the seaside, almost directly above the train tunnel. Walk up near the first house after the tunnel, and you'll find a large, well-maintained launch area at the top. Be cautious of the power line immediately to the left and the train tracks to the right; ensure you have enough lift before taking off. There are some trees slightly below the launch site, so avoid flying too low behind them. If you lose lift, it's usually possible to reach the beach safely.
