Another option is to perform a top-landing directly back at the takeoff spot, which is quite easy for those with some experience. Lastly, you can land in the spacious parking area located a few dozen meters behind the takeoff. This requires gaining a bit of altitude to drift back and set up the landing maneuver.
The flight itself is primarily a soaring experience along a 20-meter-high ridge that stretches for several kilometers along the coast. This site is often flyable even when strong westerly winds make other locations on the island unsuitable for free flight. However, if the wind in the surrounding 20-30 km area does not exceed 25-30 km/h, it might be better suited for sunbathing rather than flying.
