Important Notes:
- During spring and summer, when the grass is high, please land at the 'Kather' landing site (NEW!).
- Top landings on Schnaithalde are still prohibited due to dangerous low-level rotors in north winds.
- Vehicles must be parked at the sports field parking lot.
- We maintain a friendly relationship with residents, hunters, and farmers.
Guest Pilots:
Our club is generally open to guest pilots and welcomes new faces! However, the following rules must be strictly adhered to in order to preserve the flying site:
- Guests need a day membership, which costs €5.
- A club member must be present.
- Guest pilots require an introduction by a club member.
- The day membership form can be downloaded from our website.
If you prefer not to be a guest pilot, you are welcome to join our club.

No takeoff without an introduction!
Wind Conditions:
The best conditions are from the north to northwest. Do not attempt to take off with east winds! Even if a takeoff seems feasible, the east wind can catch you after the gap, causing you to descend rapidly into the forest or experience severe collapses. This applies to all easterly winds.
