Description
Lenzerheide, Switzerland
Elevation: 2295 m
This site is regularly used by paragliders for soaring, with some potential for cross-country (XC) flights. The site record is 82.8 km.
Important Guidelines:
- South and west of Scalottas (towards Savognin and Thusis), maintain a minimum distance of 300m from the terrain below 2200m.
- In the morning, this distance applies immediately after takeoff, meaning no scratching; glide away from the terrain directly.
- No takeoffs or flights in a southern direction in the morning.
- The southern ridge should only be overflown with at least 100m ground clearance.
- When flying north along the mountain chain, respect the wildlife protection zones around Piz Danis/Raschil and Fulhorn.
- When crossing the valley eastwards, follow the rules around Lenzerhorn.
- When crossing the valley westwards, adhere to the regulations for Heinzenbergergrat and Beverin.
