Located in the Schwyz region of Switzerland, this paragliding site offers a launch altitude of 1140 meters. The site is occasionally used and allows for moderate cross-country flights. There are various landing spots in the valley, so it's advisable to ask locals for the best options.
The launch site is oriented towards the North, West, and Northwest, making it suitable for different wind conditions. The difficulty level is easy, making it accessible for pilots with basic experience.
To reach the launch site, drive to Dürrenboden and then walk for about 5 minutes along a gravel path. When you reach the first fenced, steep meadow, follow the fence uphill. The launch area is a moderately steep meadow with some cow tracks. After takeoff, it's recommended to fly to the left.
