Paragliding Pollino Campo Tenese

Campotenese 1 is a paragliding site located in Campotenese (CS). The launch area is situated at an altitude of 1308-1375 meters and is considered to have medium difficulty. No special permits are required to take off. The site is accessible by a single traction vehicle. The landing zone is 500 meters below the takeoff point, with a medium difficulty level. The distance between the takeoff and landing zones is 5 km, and it takes approximately 5 minutes to drive between them. No special permits are required for landing either. This site is occasionally used and is suitable for soaring flights. The area is known for good thermals and relatively calm conditions, thanks to the green mountain forests of the Pollino National Park. However, be cautious when flying towards Morena due to numerous power lines. It is advisable to fly with experienced pilots or start with the easier routes in Campotenese.
