This paragliding site is rarely used and requires prior permission from the Natural Park's management. You must contact Club Alaire first: https://www.facebook.com/groups/544603862287011/.
To fly at Montsant, authorization from the Natural Park's management is essential. For more information, contact the club at secretari@alaire-club.com.
**ENVOL DE LA FUGA (SAL2)**
Orientation: SE/SW
Altitude: 1,047m
Vertical Drop: 500m

**Access and Location:**
From Cornudella, head towards Prades. At the Albarca junction, turn left. Cross the village and follow the only passable track to Pla del Grau Gran. The launch site is a dirt ramp on the right side of the path.
**Qualities:**
If wind conditions are mild, you can take off without needing to hike to other launch sites.
**Precautions:**
Located at the edge of Montsant, it experiences the 'fuga' phenomenon, so wind measurement is crucial.
**ENVOL DE LA ROCA CORBATERA (SAL3)**
Orientation: SE/SW
Altitude: 1,140m
Vertical Drop: 600m

**Access and Location:**
Leave your vehicle at Pla and take a small path on the left. You will reach Roca Corbatera in about 15-20 minutes.
**Qualities:**
This launch site has the highest vertical drop (600 meters). It is wide with a gradual slope, allowing for ridge soaring in light winds.
**Precautions:**
On windy days, the wind compresses and may prevent takeoff for hours. In such cases, consider launching from Pla del Meloner.
**ENVOL DEL PLA DEL MELONER (SAL4)**
Orientation: E/SE
Altitude: 1,050m
Vertical Drop: 500m

**Access and Location:**
From Roca Corbatera, it takes about 15-20 minutes. Follow the Cresta trail towards the southwest. You will reach Meloner in 10 minutes.
**Qualities:**
This is the most spacious launch site, suitable for competitions and gatherings of over 70 paragliders. It is the most favorable for takeoff in moderate winds among the three Montsant launch sites.
**Precautions:**
It is advisable to approach the cliff edge before takeoff to check wind intensity, as it can be misleading from the launch site.

**Access:**
From Reus, take the N240 towards Alcañiz. After the ring road ends, take the right turn towards Les Borges del Camp (via C242), continue towards Alforja, then Cornudella. Pass through and climb to the Albarca pass. From there, it's a hike to the launch sites. The maximum vertical drop is 500 meters.
