Description
The Laupersdörfer Stierenberg offers a challenging paragliding experience with a take-off height of 1050 meters. This site is regularly used and provides good cross-country (XC) potential. Top landing is possible. The southeast-facing launch site is located at the edge of the forest on the Laupersdörfer Stierenberg.

**Launch Site Details:**

To reach the launch site, drive from Laupersdorf towards Brunnersberg. At the junction in Tobel, turn right and continue to the launch site. The launch area is a moderately steep, narrow, and short meadow. Only launch under optimal conditions.
The second flying mountain in Laupersdorf is slightly lower than 'Schwängimatt'. Access is either on foot or by car. There is a restaurant at the top for refreshments.
**Flight Conditions:**
The launch conditions are not ideal (flat and short). If you manage to gain altitude, you can head towards Montier and Rameux. Otherwise, the flight destinations are the valley towns of Laupersdorf and Matzendorf.
**Important Notes:**
- Adhere to local rules to help preserve the flying area.
- Since March 2007, the new Basel TMA 'Tango' has a maximum altitude of 1750m ASL.

**Transport:**
On weekends and holidays, the club bus is available for transport to the launch site. On weekdays, group transports are recommended, with departures from the Laupersdorf parking lot every hour (around 11:30, 12:30, etc.) near the nearest landing site. At Schwängimatt, cars can be parked at the restaurant, in the pit, and on both sides of the road to the pit. The road must remain clear.
