Description
Located at an altitude of 1295 meters, this paragliding site is occasionally used and offers opportunities for both soaring and cross-country flights. The takeoff area is a moderately steep meadow, making it an easy launch site. However, pilots should be cautious of cables in the vicinity.
From the path, the space is vast, but it's important not to zigzag too much before passing the edge of the forest. If you ascend slightly above the path, keep an eye on the forest's angle ahead. In bise wind conditions, this takeoff allows you to fly over the forest edge a bit higher, avoiding potential turbulence.
To reach the takeoff point, drive from Baulmes to Le Suchet until you reach Chalet du Suchet. From there, it's a 10-minute walk southeast to the launch site.
