Description
Located in the Lucerne region of Switzerland, this paragliding site offers an elevation of 1920 meters and is considered easy to launch from. The site is regularly used for hike & fly activities, with a typical hike taking about 2 hours and 15 minutes from Sörenberg. Cross-country flights are possible, and top landing is also an option.
Despite being a typical thermal area in both winter and summer, it is also suitable for soaring when southern winds (excluding Föhn) are present.

To reach the launch site, drive from Flühli on a natural road to Mittlist Gfäl. From there, hike to Stäldli and continue towards Steinboden. The launch site is a large, steep meadow below the cross. Important: Do not attempt to launch in Bise winds.
Alternative Route: If you are coming from Sörenberg, you can reach the summit launch via Alp Satz. Plan for about two hours of hiking. The launch site is slightly below the summit.
