Description
Take off:
There are two launch points. The first is located at 100 meters on the ridge of the hill. The second, less frequently used, is at the top at 200 meters in height.
Landing:
Land in the field directly below the take-off point, with a glide ratio of 1.
Going there:
Take the expressway following Tontouta airport. About 10 km after leaving Noumea, take the road on the left to Gadji. Continue for 5 km and then turn right onto the track. Drive an additional 5 km to reach the beach. The site is on your right.
Comments:
This is the main learning site. The wind tends to come in later than in Noumea, so if you miss the opportunity to fly at Ouen Toro, you might still have a chance here.
Weather hazards:
When white caps appear on the water, it's time to land.
