Conditions Optimales
Description
This site, located at an altitude of 1595 meters with a height difference of 914 meters, is occasionally used as an alternative to Hohe Salve. It is suitable for training, soaring, and cross-country flights.
The main launch direction here is North-North-East. For cross-country flights from this location, some experience with lee-side flying is likely necessary. Otherwise, you can enjoy a bit of soaring before heading to the landing zone.

Access is via cable car. The site is suitable for paragliders and is an approved training area. The launch site is located directly next to the mountain station and consists of a grassy field.
This is a training ground for the Westendorf Paragliding School. It might be worth asking if you can join them for a ride up.
This is a calm area without major peculiarities. However, be cautious during summit launches and landings due to cable car and power lines.
When conditions are favorable, you can enjoy some nice soaring above the mountain. The cross-country options are certainly noteworthy. Consider heading over to 'Wilder Kaiser,' 'Hahnenkamm,' or 'Hohe Salve' for more flying opportunities.
The summit launch can be tricky due to a nearby ravine, which can cause you to sink quickly.
