This paragliding site, located in the Ellmau region of Austria, is rarely used and offers limited cross-country (XC) opportunities. It seems to be of little relevance for most pilots.

Access to the launch site is via a cable car. The launch area is a grassy field situated directly next to the mountain station. This site is suitable for paragliders and is an approved training ground for the Westendorf Paragliding School. It might be worth asking if you can join their sessions.
There is an additional launch site at the summit cross, facing west. This launch is challenging, situated at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level. Pilots need to gain significant altitude quickly to avoid landing in the trees. The launch site is a five-minute walk from the station towards Brandstadlalm.
