The takeoff area is large and simple, making it suitable even for beginners. It is just a 5-minute walk from the end of the road, where you can park your car.
To reach the site, start from the village of Pontegrande and follow the road to Bannio Anzino. Once you arrive in Bannio, take the road to Alpe Provaccio. At the end of this road, park your car and continue on foot to the large meadow above the huts, which is about a 5-minute walk.
The takeoff area is very spacious with progressive slopes, ideal for paragliding. There are no obstacles in the takeoff area, making it a safe spot for launching.
However, it is not advisable to fly when there are winds from the North, North-West, or West directions, especially if they are moderate to strong, due to the potential formation of rotors and strong turbulence.
