Paragliding Abelshoved Moesgård Strand

This paragliding site in Denmark offers a medium-difficult experience with a maximum height of 20 meters and a flight distance of up to 5 kilometers. The takeoff area is challenging due to the presence of trees and bushes. The beach below is narrow and has large stones, making it crucial to ensure good lift before taking off. During summer, the area near the takeoff can be crowded with visitors having barbecues, leaving limited space for paragliders. The site is located just south of Aarhus. To get there, take the E45 motorway and exit at 50 towards Århus S / Odder. Turn right onto Ring Road south to Skåde, then right towards Odder and left towards Moesgård. Continue down to Moesgård Beach, where the road ends in a parking area with a kiosk. From the kiosk, head left up the hill for about 300 meters to find a gap in the bushes for takeoff. There is also another starting point further north along the beach road at Blommehaven, where the slopes are 45 meters high with a direction of 80º.
