On North wind (6 Bft) waves variating from 0.5 m to 3m! Great place for wave riding. Winter with big waves. Due to big and dangerous rocks on most places in front of the beach too dangerous for kite beginners. There is current along the beach going North. Keep in mind when you come in trouble. Best months: May, June, July, August, September Access description: by Car - West islands of Greece. Get to the island Lefkada, as soon as you get to the island (from the bridge) turn right and you will see the beach. In the summer you can get a flight here directly with charter planes from almost anywhere. Winter is hard to get here. The ferry from Italy comes really close though. Only reachable by car. In the lagoon (lake) behind the spot a lot of fishermen nets and baskets are there, kiteboarding prohibited, like the rest of the beaches on the peninsula (including Vassiliki).
