Wallys - Palos Verdes Estates Wallys is a right-hand point break characterized by fast and powerful waves breaking over flat rocks. This spot is best surfed at mid to high tide, with optimal conditions arising from east or northeast swells and west to southwest winds. The wave offers a unique take-off next to a large rock, making it a thrilling experience for surfers. Located next to Lunada Bay, Wallys is accessible via a short walk from a dirt parking area on Paseo Del Mar. While the atmosphere is generally friendly, some localism exists, particularly at Lunada Bay. Surfers can expect a less crowded lineup, with only a few surfers on weekdays and weekends. The wave can produce remarkable barrels on good days, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
