Surf Murray's Left

Murray's Left - Alexandra Headland Murray's Left features fun left-breaking waves over a rocky reef with flat rocks and sand. The spot is accessible within a 5-minute walk from the surf club carpark or Alexandra Parade. It works best at low and mid tide with a rising tide, and is ideal when the swell comes from the southeast, east, or northeast, while the wind should ideally be from the northwest, west, southwest, or south. This surf spot is popular among locals and tourists alike, offering a relaxed atmosphere suitable for surfers of all abilities. While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, the vibe remains mostly chill, making it a great place for beginners to practice. However, be mindful of the local longboarders who may be protective of their waves. The presence of rocks can pose dangers, so caution is advised when entering and exiting the water.
