East to Southeast winds are favorable, immediately cross to Seeberg. For West/Northwest winds, there's a small cliff.
Vogelsang is a good choice for Northwest or North-Northwest conditions, similar to Hochries, making it a scenic alternative. Long-distance flights towards the east over Kaiser to Loferer, Pinzgau, or Hochkönig are feasible.
Short, steep take-off to the west. Another take-off spot to the northeast at the summit.
Cross-country routes: Vogelsang to Bischofshofen, Vogelsang to Saalfelden, Vogelsang to Zell am See.
Grassy slope at the summit for north take-offs, west take-off is almost cliff-like and should only be attempted with good wind conditions.
